Alright everyone! Last night I had a totally new experience. Krissy, Tina and I took a pole dancing class. This was so much fun!!! I knew that I was weak, but I didn't realize just how little upper body strength I really had. This class lasted just over an hour and we learned all of the basics and some spins. Krissy, of course, could throw herself all over that pole. That girl has some awesome upper body strength. The first thing she did when we got in the room was throw herself up on the pole. The instructors jaw dropped and told Krissy that was an advanced move. Believe it or not, Krissy can already pull herself upside down on the pole. This is something everyone should experience. This was such a good time. I can't wait to go back next week and learn some more moves.

Russian Winter Festival
Today was the local Russian Winter Festival. We decided to take Elena to it. I am so glad we did. There were a ton of families there that have children from or around Russia. The Home Depot Build Team came and helped the kids build leaf presses. The Ballet Aviv performed a dance from the Nutcracker. A local Russian Childrens group read Russian poems, acted out stories, and did traditional Russian dances. Jack Frost and Spiderman even made surprise appearances. Spiderman surprised everyone and performed a Russian ballet of his own. It was very strange seeing Spiderman be all graceful and dancing. Still tonight Elena keeps saying "I can't believe Spiderman came to the party". After all of this, the dj had all kinds of games for the kids to play and dances for the kids to do. Elena had a ball. Elena got to meet lots of new friends and she got to play with a couple old ones as well. Nicole and Evan came to the Festival. Elena always likes to see him. She kept thinking this was a party for Evan. We had a great time and cannot wait until the next Russian event. This was our first LEEAF event since we have been home from Russia, but it definitely will not be the last.
