New Pic of Landon

I know I am always posting pics of Elena so I decided to take a few of Landon. He was haming it up for the camera too. He was loving it. I finally got one though where he was looking at the camera and smiling. He is just getting to big and rotten for his own good.

Park Day

Krissy and I brought the kids to the park today. We brought them to the new park in Abita Springs. This is a really nice park. The kids seemed to have a really good time at this park. Here are some pictures of them just playing around on the swing set and in the water sprinklers.

Easter Sunday

Today was Easter. We woke up to start the morning with the Easter Bunny visiting. He left a basket in both of the kids rooms. We picked Landon's up and brought him and his basket to Elena's room. Landon was so cute digging through his basket. He had his whole head in it trying to get all of the stuff out. He was even trying to eat the grass. It looks like Easter is going to be one of his favorite holidays. Elena was having fun looking through hers as well. We all know how much she likes junk food and she was just in heaven. After that we got dressed to go to Aunt Brenda's house for Easter. Elena picked out everything she had on. She got all dressed up with her pearls on and her rings on and everything. She thought she was something else. Then while I was doing my makeup she told me she would be right back because she had to go do her makeup. When I came out of the bathroom, it was to find bright blue glitter all over the kitchen floor, the toy room and her. Barrett had to take her outside and shake her off just to get most of it off of her. She thought she was doing her own makeup and she was having a great time doing it.

Easter was great, as usual. The kids love getting to play with everyone all day. They had fun doing the Easter Egg Hunt. Elena would find an egg and then stop to open it and eat it before continuing on. Anthony racked up and found 4 money eggs. Hailey and Ashleigh had a load of eggs as well. Landon even got to find an egg. Overall the day was good. The rain held off until late that night so the kids had all day to play. Grandpa rented a commercial sized cotton candy machine and everyone was loving that. Ashleigh was eating cotton candy like nobody's business. At one point she had it stuck all over her face. The kids were acting like they couldn't get enough of it. Landon was even loving it.

Dying Easter Eggs

Tonight Krissy, Tina, Mike and all of the kids came over to dye Easter Eggs. All of the kids got to dye a few. Elena and Anthony only dyed one or two before they quit. Ashleigh was eating them and coloring on the inside of the eggs instead of dying them. Gabe was having fun coloring them. It looked like Mike and Hailey had the best time though. Katie even came over at the end to help dye a few. She got to put her mark on a couple eggs. I did get to see one that Katie dyed. She wrote on it first and I think she was trying to write Happy Easter but instead it said Harry Easter.

Jailen's Birthday Party

Today was Jailen's birthday party at the bowling alley. This was the first time most of the kids had been bowling so this was a really good idea. Jailen was so excited about it but he ended up not feeling well and sleeping through most of his own party. Jessica said he had fun the next day opening presents though. All of the kids (and even some of the adults) looked like they were having a really fun time bowling. It is a shame that we don't have a nicer bowling alley with a friendlier staff around here. Maybe it wouldn't have taken us so long to bring the kids.

First Time Day!

Today was the first time Elena got all dressed up in her dance costume. Today was picture day. These are just a couple of pics of her getting ready. Today was also the first time that we moved Landon to the big tub and not the baby tub. Don't know why we waited. He loved it. He didn't want to get out.

Elena doing handy work!

We spent Saturday just painting swings and benches and working in the garden. Elena loved it. She wanted to help with everything. Here are a few pictures of her helping out around the house. She helped us sand the swing and bench and she didn't have a problem getting dirty in the garden. She is always such a good helper. Landon just hung out on the porch watching us.
