We pulled out the Slip and Slide today for the first time this summer. Elena loved it. The water was freezing, but she didn't care. She didn't have her bathing suit on so Barrett just let her play on it without her clothes on. She didn't get the concept of running and then sliding so Barrett had to play with her to try to show her how to do it. He didn't use the slip and slide for long though because the water was so cold. Moma passed by with Hailey in the car. She jumped out and started playing with Elena. Hailey would run and fall on her knees without ever actually getting on her stomach or back. She played on the slip and slide with Elena for probably 15-20 minutes and never once did her hair get wet!

Pool Time Fun
Elena loves being outside. This summer she has spent
practically everyday in the pool.
She swims everyday at school and then still wants to swim on the weekends with us. She doesn't get nearly this much excitement with me though. She makes me sit on the steps with her and play while she will swim all around with Barrett.

Disney World May 2008
This weekend was PACKED at Disney World. It was also an extremely hot weekend. We all wanted to get one more weekend in before the summer crowd started. Evidentally we missed it. The kids still had a ball though. They always do. Magic Kingdom on Friday wasn't too bad. The kids got to ride all of there favorites and we got to do everything we wanted to do. Ashleigh LOVED It's a Small World. We rode it a few times just for her. She smiled and danced and waived the entire time we were on that ride. I guess she is getting to the point where she is aware of everything and likes everything. The crowds started getting a little worse on Saturday in Epcot. We stayed in Epcot from open to close. Anthony didn't make it though. He fell asleep before the fireworks even started. Elena fell asleep on the way to the condo and didn't even eat dinner. MGM on Sunday was a completely different story. There were so many people there and the heat was so intense that it seems like we got to do nothing. The kids don't ever mind though. It certainly didn't stop them from asking when we were going back. I think, for me, I am probably finished with Disney until after Landon is born. I need a Disney break. We have already been four times since December!!!
