Happy Mother's Day 2012

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! Today turned out beautiful here even though rain threatened. We all woke up bright and early and headed to Lacombe to take the kids crabbing. It was their first time going and they had a ball. We caught dozens of crabs. They were all on the small side but it didn't matter. We threw the little ones out and bought a couple dozen on our way home to add to it and went home for a crab boil. By the end of the day we were all filthy and tired.

Steamboat Natchez

Ever since our cruise last year the kids have been dying to go on a boat again. So today we all went on the Steamboat in New Orleans. It started out a dreary day and by the time the boat sailed it was beautiful. The ride was so relaxing. The kids loved it. We will definitely do this again one day!

Navy Week in New Orleans

This week is Navy week so we decided to take the kids to try to see some of the ships. They had so much fun exploring the ship and trying all of the stuff out. I wish we would have given ourselves more time so we could have explored more ships.
