Again. I am really late, but at least I am posting about it. A couple of weekends ago Landon had his first birthday party. My little man is growing so fast. It was such a good day for the party. The weather was nice. We put out the slip-n-slides and the kiddie pools and the kids just played all day. They had water balloons and water guns all day to play with. Landon didn't like us singing Happy Birthday to him. He cried the whole time; but he did like eating the birthday cake. He is a sweet eater. Landon got lots of really great stuff. Thanks to everyone!! He even showed off all of those walking skills at the party. While he was opening presents he just took off towards one to open it. Overall, it was a great day. We had a lot of fun and now my baby is 1. :(

Beach Weekend
OK OK. I know it has been a while since I have posted so I am going to play catch up. This post is actually from a few weeks ago. Moma & Daddy bought a new motorhome and we took it out for a test run this weekend. We went to the campground in Mississippi right on the beach so the kids could play. They had a ball. Here are some pics from them playing. We all got burned this weekend but it was so nice just to sit out there and let the kids play.

First Step Alone!!!
Landon has been walking holding onto things for a while now. He will even walk holding your hand (when he wants to). We have been trying to make him brave enough to let go and stand but he is always way too afraid. As soon as you let go of him, he drops straight to the floor. Well yesterday he finally braved it out. Aunt Trina was holding him upright and he was playing with daddy. He wanted his grandpa so bad. Aunt Trina just let go of his little shirt and he took a step. Only one, but at least he did it. I guess we all made a whooping sound because he immediately sat down and looked at all of us like, "what happened?". Maybe we freaked him out a bit. He did at least try again that afternoon. That is hopeful. I wish he would completely be walking on his own before he turns 1. I know that is a long shot but I am hoping that because he started walking holding onto things so early, maybe he would start to walk soon. I guess I can always be hopeful.
